The Flowers:
The Bride and Groom:
The dress and tuxedo won't be hard to match or find. Normally wedding dresses are white and tuxedos are black so any type would match the theme and in most weddings, the bride and groom don't have to match the theme anyways. A perfect option for the bride would be the Alfred Angelo Wedding Dress Style 1797. The colours along the dress can be changed to a number of different colours including black. To go with the beautiful dress, the amazing David's Bridal Elbow Length Veil Style 885, would complete the look for the bride.
For the groom any suit would do, but a great option is the Alfred Sung One Button Notch-Lapel Jacket (1831) with a Microfiber White Point Collar Shirt (5770), and a Prime Time Black Vest (6350PRBLK).
The Shoes:
Shoes are no big deal, especially for the bride if her dress is long. The groom's shoes are more important because they are seem more but any black shoes work fine. Good options are the Woman's Jenerr Side Bow by American Eagle, and Black Patent-Leather Moc-Toe Shoes (4849).
The Wedding Party:
Some couples choose not to have a wedding party and some choose to have a huge wedding party! Either way the men usually dress the same, in a tux that in some way matches the groom (usually with subtle differences but not always). The maid of honor always wears something to set her apart from the other bride's maids, this can be a different kind of dress or an added something, e.i a shall or jacket. A great example would be if the bride's maids had just simply black dresses while the maid of honor has on a white and black dress.

Sometimes invitations can get expensive and any one who knows how to work a computer and has the time to play around with it can easily print their own invitations to try and save money. Beautiful invitations are the Pocketfold invitations. Everything is neatly organised and they look so upscale and fancy for a wedding. A nice set to fill the pocketfold with would be the Jardin Collection from PaperDirect. The Jardin Collection has the invitations, the reception card, the RSVP card, the even have the matching mailing labels and the wedding programs.
The Rings:
Rings don't need to match any theme or colour scheme, they are just a symbol of the love two people share. Any rings will do, it's up to the couple, whatever speaks to them, in their price range and what they like. Nice options are always matching sets, they are usually beautiful and they obviously match each other.
The Reception:
Receptions differ and depend on what the couple wants and what their traditions are. Most weddings have a guest book with matching pen and a card box at the entrance for guests to sign and to leave their cards or just drop money in.
Other options for any reception are throwing the bouquet and garter. Also if it's a sit down meal, place cards and table numbers are a great option to have. They keep everything less chaotic and keeps everything organized.
The Food:
Nothing says winter better than Tomato Soup. Served with half a grilled cheese sandwich on the side and it is a perfect way to start a Winter Wedding meal. The main meal would be a hardy Meatloaf, with Garlic Baked Fries. The desserts can be buffet style, even if it is a sit down meal, and it would be a great way to offer variety. Some great options are: Melted Snowman Cookies, Snowman Cookies,Turtle Cookies, Hot Fudge Thumbprint Cookies, and Cherry Snowballs. A great idea would be to offer White Hot Chocolate also to go with the desserts.
Cherry Snowballs
1 cup butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon coconut extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup quick oats
1/2 teaspoon salt
36 maraschino cherries, drained
2 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
2 cups sweetened coconut, chopped
Preheat the oven to 350F.
In the bowl of a mixer, cream together the butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, water and coconut extract. In another bowl, mix together the flour, oats and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed butter mixture and mix just until combined.
Using a tablespoon of dough at a time, roll into a ball, then flatten. Place a cherry in the center, then wrap the cookie dough around the cherry. Roll into a ball with the cherry completely covered. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Once all the cookies are rolled, bake until light golden brown, 17-19 minutes. Let cool completely.
Once cooled, mix together the 2 cups powdered sugar and the milk. (Add more milk if needed – you want a dipping consistency.) Completely dip each cookie into the mixture, then roll in the chopped coconut. Allow to dry completely before serving.

The Cake:
Black and white cakes sound like something that would be dark and not fit for a wedding but some can be very beautiful. The cake below has beautiful flowers that are subtle but they take away from the dark colours and make the cake come together.

| Black and White Wedding Cake |
The perfect cake for a black and white, winter wedding would be an Oreo Cheese Cake wedding cake. It matches the theme and colours naturally and it is very good. Also a great cake topper would be one that highlights the theme anything that has to do with winter. A snowflake or something more traditional like a couple is a good option but in all honesty the topper doesn't have to match the theme.

Nice guest favours would be glass jars filled with candy. Something that comes in a variety of different colours would be the personalize M&M's. The bride and groom and get anything printed on them, their names, their wedding date, pictures of wedding bells and they can pick any colours including black and white. With the theme being black and white, these Customized Mints are also a great option to hand out. Like the M&M's they can get anything printed onto them.
Centerpieces:
Centerpieces can be simple to make at home with all the right things. In the case of the centerpiece below all a person would need would be the tall hurricanes, the candles and the water pearls. Ice rocks instead would be fine as well or just having them scattered around the table would be beautiful too.
Thank You Cards:
Thank You Cards don't always have to match the theme of the wedding, some couples choose to send a card with a picture of themselves, or from their wedding day. It all depends on the couple, some chose to send a picture in the card. Either way a couple can never go wrong with a beautiful card, so if it matches the theme or colour scheme doesn't really matter in the end.
